Coming to Wrexham city centre this June, learn about Wrexham’s ghoulish history, with tales of cruel judges and peeved poltergeists in a brand new Walking Ghost Tour.
The brainchild of Wrexham’s Rhi Quinn - a GOLD Wrexham tourism ambassador (!!) whose desire to combine her love of her home city, with her interest in spooky stories and history has resulted in this innovative new visitor attraction. Plus, it turns out Wrexham has a wealth of such tales to tell, which come together in this 90 minutes tour.
Rhi says; "Murder, mystery and maniacal laughter - there are three key components to a good ghost tour. We're inviting you to join your guide as we take you on a journey through the city's sordid past. Learn about cruel judges, peeved poltergeists and friendly phantasms. Who knows, perhaps you'll run into a few spectres down the alleyways after dark...Book now if you think you're brave enough!"
Starting from the Visitor Information Centre on Chester St, the tour will take you on foot for approximately 2km, with regular breaks. Whilst there are steps in the tour, there is also the option of a fully accessible tour.
Follow your guide, take in the history, and try not to be too spooked by Wrexham’s perilous past!
To book onto a tour, see www.northwalesghosttours.co.uk
Tours will run on Friday evenings from June to August and October to November and cost £15 per person.
