International superstar Lionel Richie has announced he will be playing in North Wales as part of his 2020 UK tour.
The soul legend who first made a name for himself with The Commodores in the '70s, before hitting world superstar status as a solo artist will play at the Racecourse Ground in Wrexham on June 4.
The Wrexham gig is part of his Hello Tour, which kicked off in May this year.
The UK leg comes after the 70-year-old performer released his fourth live album, Hello from Last Vegas, which reached #1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart in August.
In recent years, Richie has headlined festivals including Glastonbury where he drew the festival’s biggest crowd ever with more than 200,000 attendees.
Tickets for the Hello tour go on sale next Friday (November 22) at 9am from Ticketmaster
